TITLE

Spontaneous Remission Versus Rehabilitation of Aphasia

ABSTRACT

Most patients who have suffered acute onset of aphasia improve over the succeeding months. The precise course of recovery, its speed and duration, and reasons for this are still largely unknown. One question that has attracted much attention is whether the course of recovery from aphasia can be positively influenced by deliberate language intervention.
