Types of Aphasia

ABSTRACT

The nomenclature and criteria for types of aphasia in this study are based on the Wernicke—Lichtheim model, as described in Chapter 1. Within this tradition, different test batteries have different rules or guidelines for determining the aphasia type after converting raw scores to derived scores and examining the resulting test profiles.
