ABSTRACT

The paper presents a characterization procedure and results of investigation of the amount of nondiamond carbon in nanosized diamond powders and in various intermediate products. The procedure is based on the quantitative analysis of X-ray diffraction patterns of the samples using a mathematical apparatus of cubic splines.
