ABSTRACT

Calculated results for steel continuous casting conditions are presented. For mathematical modeling and implementation of the initial problems, the finite element method (FEM) was used. Solutions for technological problems related to light (125 × 125 and 140 × 140 mm) and heavy (250 × 300 and 300 × 400 mm) blooms cast at the Belarusian Steel Works are shown.
