ABSTRACT

The results of multiscale seismological studies of the deep underground structure of the Elbrus volcano (Northern Caucasus) and surrounding territories are presented. The studies were carried out using the new expanded seismic network of the Geophysical Survey, Russian Academy of Sciences. Crustal domains with increased attenuation of seismic waves were outlined. The general geological and geophysical model of the Elbrus volcanic center was specified. More... »
