ABSTRACT

Soils of the area of Moscow State University are characterized by different transformation trends of properties in top horizons and poorer ecological status as compared to zonal soddy podzolic soils. The transformation rate depends on the type of land use and increases with anthropogenic impact. The ecological status of the least transformed soils of the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University and garden squares is relatively optimal. In residential and traffic areas, soil ecological status is poorer due to the degradation of chemical, biological, and some physical soil properties. More... »
