ABSTRACT

Transparent protection (TP) is one of the basic elements of low-potential solar installations. The problem of determining the flux coefficients that allow one to calculate the solar flux entering through the TP is considered. An algorithm and program are developed for determining the flux coefficients for film semicylindrical and segmented TP. It is shown that the meridional orientation of a semicylindrical TP is more efficient than latitudinal, while for a segmented TP, the latitudinal orientation is more favorable. More... »
