AUTHORS ABSTRACTApoptotic cell death mediated through activation of death receptors is essential in the regulation of tissue homeostasis in development and differentiation. The expression of the members of the death receptor family is tightly regulated and varies among tissues. Dysregulation of death receptor expression is implicated in the pathogenesis of various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and infections.
