ABSTRACT

The interplay of pQCD, pion exchange and FSI effects is studied for the \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$\gamma \gamma \rightarrow \pi^ + \pi^-$\end{document} reaction in the region of 2 GeV \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$ < W_{\gamma \gamma} < 6$\end{document} GeV. We find strong interference effects between pQCD and soft-pion-exchange amplitudes up to \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$W_{\gamma \gamma} \sim 4$\end{document} GeV. We discuss to which extend the conventional hadronic FSI effects cloud the pQCD effects. We study multipole soft- and hard-scattering effects as well as the coupling between final-state hadronic channels. More... »
