ABSTRACTA comparative analysis of the ITS sequences and several chloroplast genome sequences of the Poa and their relative species showed that the genus Poa contained a significant amount of species originating from intersectional, and in some cases intergeneric, hybridization (between species Poa and species of subtribe Puccinellinae).
