ABSTRACT

A comparative analysis of the ITS sequences and several chloroplast genome sequences of the Poa and their relative species showed that the genus Poa contained a significant amount of species originating from intersectional, and in some cases intergeneric, hybridization (between species Poa and species of subtribe Puccinellinae). The position of several new Poa hybrids founded in the Altai Mountains on the phylogenetic tree was determined. More... »
