ABSTRACT

Chiral diamines with C1 and C2 symmetry have been synthesized from 2-hydroxypinan-3-one and tested as ligands in Cu-catalyzed asymmetric nitroaldol reaction of nitromethane with 4-nitrobenzaldehyde.
