ABSTRACT

N-(2,2,2-Trichloroethylidene)- and N-(2,2-dichloro-2-phenylethylidene)arenesulfonamides reacted with acetylacetone and chromium(III) acetylacetonate in the absence of a catalyst to give previously unknown β-aminoketone derivatives, N-(3-acetyl-1-polychloro-4-oxopentan-2-yl)arenesulfonamides.
