ABSTRACTSynthesis and structure of two novel dyads including two fluorophores - 1,2,4,5-tetraarylimidazole and azomethine fragments of different nature, have been studied targeting compounds with tunable luminescence. The presence of multiple fluorescence in both dyads has been established, and switching in one of the compounds is controlled by the excitation wavelength.
