ABSTRACT

The intermittent behavior at the boundary of phase synchronization in the presence of noise is investigated. It is shown that in a certain range of the coupling parameter and noise intensity, the system experiences the intermittency of needle’s eye- and ring-type intermittencies. The basic results are demonstrated with two unidirectionally coupled Ressler chaotic oscillators. More... »
