ABSTRACTResults of experimental studies of the possibility to use a low-power magnetoplasma compressor for propane−air mixture ignition in a supersonic flow are presented. It is demonstrated that the regime of explosive combustion of the propane−air mixture can be stably implemented under the action of the magnetoplasma compressor. The maximum repetition rate of the magnetoplasma compressor is limited by the charging time of the storage capacitor. More... »
