ABSTRACTThe structure and magnetic properties of austenitic–ferritic steel specimens were investigated. Specimens were preliminarily held in liquid nitrogen and then subjected to cold plastic deformation. The practical applicability of various methods for detecting and visualizing the deformationmartensite phase was investigated.
