ABSTRACT

Study of the combustion and explosion of hydrogen‒carbon oxide‒air mixtures shows that the sharpness of a chain thermal explosion depends on the frequency of branching in a given branch of a reaction chain. It is established that varying the СО: Н2 concentration allows us to observe and eliminate the degeneration of an explosion while maintaining the regimes of ignition and deflagration. More... »
