ABSTRACT

Single crystals of Li(NH4)2[UO2(CH3COO)3]3 · 2H2O (I) and (CN3H6)4[UO2(CH3COO)3](NO3)3 (II), which crystallize in monoclinic system with unit cell parameters a = 23.544(12) Å, b = 12.901(8) Å, c = 16.117(9) Å, β = 121.414(13)°, space group C2/c, Z = 4, R = 0.0441 (I) and a = 6.9376(3) Å, b = 15.1329(6) Å, c = 14.0399(6) Å, β = 94.690(1)°, space group P21/m, Z = 2, R = 0.0276 (II), have been synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction. Structural units in complexes I and II are mononuclear [UO2(CH3COO)3]− moieties, which belong to the AB301 crystallochemical group (A = UO22+ B01 = CH3COO− complexes are linked into a framework by means of electrostatic interactions with outer-sphere ions and by hydrogen bonds.
