ABSTRACT

The transmission spectrum of a plane-parallel MgO plate was investigated in the range of an absorption edge. The transmission intensity was approximated using the dispersion equation of the dielectric permittivity for a single oscillator taking into account relaxation. Consideration of the relaxation terms characterizing the interaction with incident radiation results in better agreement with experiment. More... »
