ABSTRACT

A small excimer glow-discharge argon lamp intended for use in portable gas-analytical photoionization devices is described. The emission spectrum of the lamp in the vacuum ultraviolet region and other characteristics necessary for its practical application are presented. The radiation flux emitted by the lamp in the range of 120−135 nm is approximately 1013 photons/s. More... »
