ABSTRACT

A prototype of a compact sectioned high-voltage source for the modernization of a tandem accelerator with vacuum insulation has been created at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. In contrast to the existing voltage source, it is possible to specify the potential at the accelerating electrodes directly from the rectifier sections, as well as to decrease the accelerator height.
