ABSTRACT

The light spectrum of molecular scattering is used for studying the particular features of the hypersound propagation in a guaiacol—glycerol binary solution with two critical points. The kinetics of the spectrum of scattered light in liquid salol is studied when the viscosity of the latter varies over ten orders of magnitude. Acoustic singularities are revealed in the critical region at the phase transition and at a large viscosity. More... »
