ABSTRACTA case of intestinal splenosis in a splenectomized patient is presented. (111)In-DTPA-D-Phe-1-octreotide ((111)In-OCT) scintigraphy, computed tomography, as well as magnetic resonance imaging suggested a tumor in the small intestine. The histopathological finding after operation revealed an intestinal splenosis. This case illustrates that intestinal splenosis may mimic a tumor by (111)In-OCT scan.
