ABSTRACT

NUCLEAR pockets (blebs or loops) and nuclear projections have recently been reported in various lymphoid cells of healthy1,2 and leukaemic3,4 human subjects, in Burkitt tumour lymphoblasts5 and in thymocytes6,7. They have also been observed in myeloid cells of amphibians8 and in lymphoid cells of birds and cyclostomes9.
