ABSTRACT

The gas/solution distribution coefficients, the rate constants of the first stage, the activation parameters of the reactions of benzene, monoalkyl- and polymethylbenzenes, and the products from toluene coupling in the HVO3 – H2SO4 (59.7 wt.%) system were studied. A compensation effect involving the number of substituents in the benzene ring was found. A reaction scheme is proposed. More... »
