ABSTRACT

The inhibiting action of N-phenacylmethylpyridinium bromides on corrosion of carbon steel in a 3 M sulfuric acid solution was studied. A relationship between the structure of the compounds under study and their corrosion-protective properties was revealed. Compounds ensuring high degree of corrosion protection of steel in acid media were found.
