ABSTRACT

The adsorption characteristics of high-strength carbon fibres from dilute solutions of phenol are determined. Use of the equation from the theory of micropore volume filling (TMVF) for describing adsorption equilibria made it possible to calculate the parameters of the pore structure of carbon fibres, which ensures efficient use of an alternative technology — the polycondensation method of filling of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastics.
