ABSTRACT

Hintergrund: Der selektive COX-2-Inhibitor Etoricoxib stellt eine wichtige Alternative für Patienten mit Analgetikaintoleranz dar. Etoricoxib selbst kann aber auch Auslöser von Unverträglichkeitsreaktionen sein. Falldarstellung: Anhand von drei Fallbeispielen werden mögliche Unverträglichkeitsreaktionen auf Etoricoxib und deren Testung dargestellt. Schlussfolgerung: Mögliche Unverträglichkeitsreaktionen auf Etoricoxib können eine zeitverzögert auftretende Urtikaria, eine klassische Anaphylaxie, eine akute generalisierte exanthematische Pustulose (AGEP), eine toxisch-epidermale Nekrolyse sowie ein möglicherweise generalisiertes bullöses fixes Arzneiexanthem sein, welches das Bild eines Erythema-multiforme-artigen Exanthems imitieren kann.
