AUTHORS ABSTRACTRecently, Ni and Pan proved a q-congruence on certain sums involving central q-binomial coefficients, which was conjectured by Guo. In this paper, we give a generalization of this q-congruence and confirm another q-congruence, also conjectured by Guo.
