ABSTRACT

A review of available methods for specific surface area determination for various dispersed materials is presented. Fundamental differences between the currently used devices and procedures of the analysis of external and total specific surface, including those applicable to powders of superhard materials and refractory compounds, are discussed. Some data on specific surface of synthetic diamond grits, micron powders, and submicron powders are provided for practical applications. More... »
