ABSTRACT

Le syndrome de l’intestin irritable est un trouble fonctionnel digestif fréquent, associant douleurs abdominales et troubles du transit, qui concerne 5 % de la population générale. La maladie, bien que bénigne, peut être responsable d’une altération de la qualité de vie, qui est notamment fonction de la sévérité de la maladie et de la réponse au traitement de première intention. L’amélioration des connaissances de la physiopathologie a parfois été à l’origine de nouveaux traitements et d’une amélioration de la prise en charge. Parmi les différents traitements, on compte des recommandations hygiénodiététiques, des traitements classiques ou alternatifs et l’éducation thérapeutique. More... »
