ABSTRACTThe paper reports on the test data on the elastic-plastic deformation of mottled sylvinite and rock salt under trialxial compression conditions. The basic regularities are established for variations of strain and strength parameters of salt rocks depending upon the structure and shape of specimens and the loading rates.
