ABSTRACT

Based on the introduction of the temperature perturbation front and of additional boundary conditions, an approximate analytical solution of the heat conduction problem with account for the displacement of the melting front with complete removal of the melted substance (the Stefan problem with ablation) has been obtained. The technique proposed in the work for constructing additional boundary conditions allows one to apply a model (approximating) representation of the solution with the possibility of attaining the specified degree of accuracy.
