ABSTRACTAn algorithm for calculation of the chemical equilibrium of a multicomponent heterogeneous thermodynamic system on the basis of the maximum-entropy principle has been developed. The model obtained is universal and can be used for a large number of high-temperature processes, including the combustion of alternative fuels in different-type heat engines. On the basis of the algorithm proposed, the equilibrium composition of the combustion products of hydrogen-containing fuels was calculated for different initial conditions. More... »
