ABSTRACT

A new organic–inorganic hybrid, [NH4]10[Cu(im)2]2[Cu4(AsIIIMo10V4O47)2]·20H2O (1) has been synthesized and structurally characterized. Compound 1 exhibits the 2D layered framework constructed from the sandwich-type [Cu4(AsIIIMo10VIV4VO47)2]14− fragments linked alternately with [Cu(im)2]2+ units, which represents the first 2D organic–inorganic hybrid containing tetra-CuII substituted sandwich-type Mo/V-arsenite-based heteropolymolybdate. Interesting, the magnetic measurement of 1 indicates the presence of ferromagnetic interactions among the {Cu4O16} cluster. In addition, the functional application of 1 in electrochemical sensing of ascorbic acid is also investigated in details. More... »
