ABSTRACT

The structure of the novel cycloartane triterpene glycoside cyclomacroside A, which was isolated from Astragalus macropus Bunge (Leguminosae) roots, was determined as 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside-24,25-isopropylidenedioxy-24R-cylcoartan-1α,3β,7β-triol.
