ABSTRACT

The lifetime prevalence of headache is 90 %. Accordingly headache is one of the most frequent symptoms in the general population. Up to 70 % of the adults experience headache at least once per month. Managing headache it is the first step to differentiate primary from secondary headaches, i. e. headache not attributed to a certain disorder such as migraine or tension-type headache, from secondary headaches attributed to an infection, head trauma or brain tumor for example.
