ABSTRACT

. The cold source time of flight spectrometer IN5 at the Institut Laue–Langevin is being upgraded since January 2001. Besides the recent developments of the installation, we present here a Monte Carlo simulation of the new spectrometer guide, outlining some aspects of the new IN5 spectrometer performances.
