1,4-Dioxo-3, 4, 4e, 5, 10, 10a-hexahydro-1H-5,10-benzenobenzo [g] phthalazin-2-yl-thioamide [6a]; 1,4-dioxo-3, 4, 4e, 5, 10, 10a-hexahydro-1H-5, 10-benzenobenzo [g] phthalazin-2-yl-N-pyridylthioamide [6b] and 1,4-dioxo-3, 4, 4e, 5, 10, 10a-hexahydro-1H-5, 10-benzenobenzo[g]phthalazin-2-yl-N-ethylthioamide [6c] and their [Cu(6a-H)(OAc)], [Zn(6a-H)(OAc)], [Cu(6b-H)(H2O)2(OAc)]·3H2O and [Zn(6b-H)(OAc)], [Cu2(6c-H)](OAc)3]·2H2O and [Zn(6c-H)(OAc)] complexes have been synthesized via a reaction between phthalazinedione 6a–c derivatives and the acetate salt of Cu(II) or Zn(II). These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, spectra (UV–Vis, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, ESR), conductance, thermal analysis and magnetic moments. More... »
