ABSTRACT

We study the two dimensional Navier–Stokes initial boundary value problem in exterior domains assuming that the initial data u0 belongs L∞. The global (in time) unique existence of this problem is furnished. The behavior of ||u(t)||∞ for large t is of double exponential kind.
