ABSTRACT

Of 1,061 clones ofSolatium tuberosum, S. andigenum, S. phureja, wild species and interspecific hybrids tested in the greenhouse against race 3 ofPseudomonas solanacearum E.F.S., six clones of S.phureja showed a high degree of resistance, which was maintained during testing of the resistant clones at different temperatures (20, 25 and 30 C) in growth cabinets and against races 1 and 2 in the greenhouse.
