ABSTRACT

We study the asymptotic behaviour of form factors of hadrons considered as bound states (i.e., Reggeized hadrons) in a ladder Bethe-Salpeter model. The asymptotic properties of the B.S. wave function are first investigated by reducing the problem to a system of a Fredholm plus a Volterra-like integral equation. The form factors turn out to be bounded by inverse powers ofk2 (times some powers of logk2) for large values of the square momentum transferk2. For spin 0 and 1/2 bound states we obtain a dipole bound (i.e 1/(k2)2 disregarding logk2) while for higher integer spinJ the form factors decrease at least as 1/(k2)J+2. More... »
