Applications of the Mellin transform to the truncated Schwinger-Dyson equations with analytic continuation in the space-time dimension are considered. For the theory of spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking with equal vector and axial-vector gauge field couplings, this leads to relations between meson and baryon self-generated masses continuously in the strong coupling constant.
