ABSTRACT

The modification of electrodynamics for theg′-quark permitting chiral invariance, CA, and PCAC to hold affords to relate the nucleon electromagnetic mass splitting to the pionic case previously treated by Ward's identities. This gives correct sign and order of magnitude for this effect and finite positive proton charge.
