ABSTRACT

When actual separation of magnetic masses can take place at the core of a spherical shell, otherwise endowed with rotational invariance, the breaking of this invariance for the averaged magnetic induction field could result in a form of cap instability for the spherical shell. This is examined using a simple scaling factor to represent the breaking of rotational invariance and is easily derived in electromagnetic theory. More... »
