ABSTRACT

We apply to the nucleon σ-model a theory of spontaneous breaking of the conformal symmetry, withO2,3 as invariance group of the vacuum. We discuss, in the tree approximation, the results of the shift procedure for the various fields and their group theoretical aspect.
