ABSTRACT

The generalized Yang-Mills (GYM) system interacting with the chiral generalized Dirac (GD) system in the 8-dimensional spaceM8=R4×S4 is shown to yield a 4-dimensional residual field theory containing the YM-Higgs (YMH) systems interacting with the usual Dirac system. Conditions for the fermionic system onR4 to be chirally asymmetric are examined, and the anomaly structure of these theories is studied. It is found that in the residual GYMH theory, which has no instantons, the non-Abelian anomaly is absent. More... »
