ABSTRACT

The aim of this work is to present a perturbative expansion which differs from the usual expansions of quantum field theory in that it uses as zeroth-order approximation a non-Gaussian model. It is shown that this expansion coincides with the standard clustering expansion in the case in which a lattice approximation is introduced and the non-Gaussian model is chosen static ultralocal. In following works this technique will be shown to lead to novel approaches to functional integration as well as to computation. More... »
