ABSTRACT

Elastic-modulus and internal-friction anomalies are observed at the transition between antiferromagnetic and paramagnetic states occurring at low temperature in f.c.c. iron precipitated in a copper-2.1 at % iron alloy. The transition temperature is a function of the precipitate size and increases to a saturation value of 68 K when the precipitate size increases. More... »
