ABSTRACT

Various options are available for improving the management of bladder function for women with disabilities. Our approach has always been to begin with the least invasive treatment option, which accomplishes the important goal of preserving renal function and preventing infection, while maintaining continence. If these approaches fail, then more elaborate procedures can be considered. The woman's preference as well as her body habits and lifestyle should always be priorities when designing a bladder management program. More... »
